A New Overwater Spa Is Coming to the British Virgin Islands

It’s the only overwater spa in the British Virgin Islands, and one of just a handful in the wider Caribbean.

One of the Caribbean’s most exclusive residential resorts is set to debut a new overwater spa, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Oil Nut Bay in Virgin Gorda is set to debut its new Sundara Spa + Studio, with an opening planned for January 2025.

Sundara Spa offers a serene yoga studio with large windows showcasing a scenic ocean view. The room features a ceiling fan, yoga mats, and cylindrical cushions on a marble floor. Soft lighting filters through sheer curtains, creating a calm atmosphere ideal for relaxation.

The new overwater space will include a flexible studio or yoga, pilates and guided mediation.

That will come along with two treatment rooms with glass and underwater windows, with a focus on massage, stretch, skin treatments and even infrared therapy.
