Kitchen and Laundry Technician
Job Overview
The Kitchen and Laundry Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of all kitchen and laundry equipment across the resort. This role supports uninterrupted culinary and housekeeping operations by conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and responding promptly to service calls. From commercial kitchen appliances to industrial laundry systems, the technician ensures all equipment meets safety standards and operates at peak performance. This position plays a critical role in upholding hygiene, efficiency, and service excellence within a luxury resort environment.
Requirements
Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen and/or industrial laundry equipment, preferably within a hospitality or resort setting. Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, gas, and plumbing systems related to kitchen and laundry operations. Ability to diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and complete repairs efficiently under pressure. Working knowledge of safety, sanitation, and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team. Relevant technical certification or vocational training preferred. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
