Virgin Gorda

A NATURAL sanctuary

The third largest island in the BVI, Virgin Gorda entices travelers with its stunning beaches, quiet coves, safe anchorages and luxury resorts and villas. The Baths of Virgin Gorda are one of our most celebrated natural wonders and are an easy day trip from our resort.

Natural beauty is in abundance and accessible via indigenous plant-lined trails, nature sanctuaries and natural wonders of the island’s protected national parks.

THE BATHS of Virgin Gorda

Arguably one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated attractions, the giant boulders of the Baths of Virgin Gorda are scattered across turquoise waters and white sand forming private pools to be explored and enjoyed by all. Order a sumptuous Oil Nut Bay picnic to-go or visit a nearby local restaurant and make a day of it. This geological wonder is not to be missed!

WE GIVE where we live

Oil Nut Bay passionately pursues the betterment and enhancement of the greater neighborhood of the North Sound and Virgin Gorda. Founded by David V. Johnson and his wife, Pam, the North Sound Foundation assists local nonprofit cultural, educational, environmental, health, and human service organizations throughout the North Sound and Virgin Gorda.

Through a series of grants that empower the community, other organizations, such as the Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School, St. Mary’s Schools, KATS, Special Olympics BVI, and the BVI Fishing Clubs, have benefited from the North Sound Foundation over the years. The foundation is chaired by Clyde Lettsome and funded by generous contributions from our homeowners and North Sound neighbours. From rebuilding schools to installing playgrounds, and with a mission to teach every child in the BVI to swim, the North Sound Foundation is a true reflection of the heart of Oil Nut Bay.
